Hello fellow bloggers, I hope you are enjoying this nice weather we are having. Today I am going to be talking about: when you should wash your vehicle, why you should wash your vehicle, and how to clean your vehicle the best way possible. I will also be giving some handy tips and tricks that I personally use to keep my car looking sharp. These tips and tricks can save you a lot of money in the long run especially if you want to ride the vehicle till it dies.
When should you wash your vehicle? When it comes to washing your vehicle, you should wash your vehicle at least once a week. This may vary depending on: the vehicle you own, how much you use that vehicle, what color the vehicle is, and where you live. I personally wash my car two times a week because the color is gloss black, and I live in the Mid West….. Very dusty and wet where I live. Helpful tip- when washing your vehicle make sure the predicted forecast for the next couple of days is going to be clear. It does not make any sense to wash your vehicle then have it get rained on the following day. Also right after it rains pull your car into a garage or enclosed space and wipe the vehicle down. Nothing is better then getting a free car wash!

Why should you wash your vehicle? You should want to wash your vehicle, and if you never do your vehicle will look completely different over time. Also the next time you go to wash your vehicle, it is gonna take a lot more time, effort, and money then what it should regularly be. If you bought your vehicle with your own money like I did, you should care what it looks like. Vehicles are not cheap, they get more expensive every year, and are starting to be made with more cheap materials. Repainting your vehicle can cost thousand of dollars, it would be so much easier to just wash your car every week and avoid repainting your vehicle in the long run. Tip- if your vehicle is never clean, you will never be able find out about: love taps, fender benders, scrapes, chips, fine scratches, deep scratches, and etc. If you do not care about what your vehicle looks like, you probably do not care about the health of the vehicle either. You might ass well buy and old rust bucket, it will be a lot cheaper then buying a brand new vehicle to trash.
How to clean your vehicle When it comes to cleaning your vehicle, there are three types of ways to wash it. You can hand wash your vehicle, go to a self car wash, or go to an automatic car wash. I prefer hand washing since it is cheap and you will mostly likely not miss a spot. We will talk about this more in a little bit. These three types of ways all clean your vehicle, but one way might be better then the other or might be a better option for you.
Hand washing is the best, cheapest, and easiest way to wash your vehicle. All you really need is a bucket, a garden hose, dish soap, and some towels if you want to dry it and get fancy. The best part about hand washing is you get to do it yourself and make sure your satisfied with your vehicle before you call it quits. It makes it really easy if you have a power washer, you do not need a $450 power washer or you can just buy a info commercial car nozzles for garden hoses. You also do not need to buy special car soap, or any special products, but it does make the process of washing your vehicle go by faster. Tip- if you live somewhere where it is always warm, spray your car everyday with a water for about a two minutes and then pull it into the garage to air dry. No need to spend money on soap when you can quick wash it everyday.

Self car washes are also another cheap way to wash your car and they also provide a more high pressure hose. Some other benefits include: they run off change, they are enclosed, and they have several options for the nozzle. You can have soap, pre-soap, wax, low tire pressure cleaner, rinse, spot free rinse and etc. Depending on the car wash they may or may not allow bucket washing also know as hand washing. They also might have a heated inside so drying your vehicle is easy. The one thing I do not like about self car washes is there car brushes especially if you can not hand wash. When I had my old car I took it to a self car wash. While I was washing my car with the car brush, I started to see scratches. After investigation I realized that the car brush was full of rocks and probably has never been changed out.

Automatic car washes are fast, somewhat reliable, and best part is you can usually select the level you want for your vehicle. For example: Basic wash- $6, Ultra wash- $8, Works wash- $10, or Ultimate wash $12. This is great for days where you really feel lazy or just got done with a really long car ride, all you have to do is pay inside or at a machine and your car is clean five minutes later. The only thing I do not like about automatic car washes is that they usually do not tend to dry good at all and the hose that squirts at the tires has way to much pressure. It also just scares me to read reviews about moving brushes scraping cars and ruining paint.

Thank you for reading my blog, hopefully you got some use full information. Now you know for sure what way is the best way to wash your vehicle, have a great day!
