Other Motor Vehicles You Are Eligible To Drive With A Driver’s License.

Hello bloggers, hope all of you are having a great day! Today we are going to be talking about other motor vehicles you can drive, only if you have a valid drivers license. These motor vehicles only require a drivers license and insurance in order to operate . For example, a motorcycle would not be in this list because it requires a motorcycle license to operate. Note that these regulations, laws, and rules only apply to the State of South Dakota and may vary anywhere else.

ATV’s (All Terrain Vehicle)

ATV’s are governed by the state motorcycle law but they do not require a motorcycles license to operate. The only thing required for a driver to operate the vehicle is a valid driver’s license, and an insured ATV. ATV’s are classified as a street legal vehicle in South Dakota, so you can take them on all roads except the interstate. Even though South Dakota is pretty flexible with their laws, if you get caught using a four wheeler without a valid drivers license, you could be ticketed of finned. This could also happen if you do not have the proper equipment on your ATV as well, such as: blinkers, headlights, taillights, horn, and etc. You can still drive a ATV if it does not have blinkers, you just have to remember your hand signals when driving.

Four Wheeler

SCOOTER/MOPED/MINI-BIKE

These vehicles only have two wheels and there are the closets thing it gets to being called a motorcycle, but they are not. These vehicles are classified as a subset of motorcycles and they are also governed by the state motorcycle law. The only main difference is the engine has to be less then 50cc or you are required to have a motorcycle license to operate. You are required to have the vehicle insured, correct working equipment, and follow the same laws as any other vehicle. If you are 14 and have your permit, you are allowed to drive this type of vehicle in South Dakota! Remember though, you can not drive past the 10 o’clock curfew if you are under the age of 16. It is recommended that you wear a helmet and do not have more then 1 person on the vehicle. If you get caught on a highway or a busy street, you more then likely well get talked to about it.

50cc Moped

Boats & PWC (PERSONAL WATERCRAFT)

According to the National Association of State boating Law Administers, in South Dakota you do not need any sort of licences in order to drive a boat or PWC. They do recommend taking some sort of boating education which will benefit your insurance on the boat or PWC. NO ONE under the age of 18 can drive a boat or PWC, but they can ride along with a passenger that is 18 or older. If you are driving a PWC you are required to wear a life jacket and that goes for anyone else who is under the age of 18 in a boat. Usually if you have some boating experience and are not breaking the laws, there is no need for the harbor control to come get you.

Purchasing VS Leasing

Hello fellow bloggers, hope you are enjoying this nice spring weather that we are having! Today we are going to be talking about whether purchasing or leasing a vehicle is a better option for you. Buying a vehicle is a big decision and it is not very cheap either. You always want to look at multiple factors before making a decision to buy or lease a vehicle and take your time. The biggest thing to remember is it is your decision, do not get forced into something you do not want unless your being selfish.

Current Financial Situation

When it comes to leasing or buying a vehicle, you should always assess your current financial situation. Do you have a lot of bills to pay on a monthly basis? Are you currently employed? Do you have any money saved up for new vehicle? Does you vehicle right now cost you more money to use then owning another vehicle and when is the last time you owned a vehicle? When I say new vehicle, I do not mean a brand new 2020 vehicle. To me, a new vehicle is a vehicle that you bought that is a newer year or better version of your older vehicle that you where driving on a daily basis. It is really important to go through every question I listed and answer it based on your current financial situation. If you do not have a lot of monthly bills, are working full time, and have not had a new vehicle in about 7-10 years, I think it is safe to say you could lease or buy a car in your price range. Before you shoot the gun, there are also some other factors that we have to talk about before considering what the best option is for you.

Location

Living expenses can vary depending on where you live and this is also true for vehicle expenses. If you live in a big city like New York, you can expect to pay on average $17,000 a year just to drive your car around on a daily basis. This $17,000 includes: gas, parking spaces, tolls, insurance, car washes, maintenance, title, depreciation and etc. If you live in a place like South Dakota, you can expect to pay around $10,000 a year which is about a $7,000 difference! These prices also may vary depending on how reliable your vehicle is and how often you travel or commute to work. Buying brand new vehicles in bigger cities also can cost a lot more and here is why. There is a lot more population and options to satisfied almost everyone’s need in a bigger city, so they can sell the car for whatever the consumers are willing to pay. The brand new cars they do not sell, they send them to smaller dealerships like cities in South Dakota and lower the price down so they still can make some money off the sale and also let the dealership make some quick cash as well. This is also true for very small towns, you might have to drive to a bigger town or city to look for better options.

It Is Your Decision

The biggest factor in my opinion, it is your decision unless your sharing the vehicle with someone else. If you are sharing the vehicle you also want to listen to their inputs and thoughts since they will be most likely driving the vehicle as well. Also this factor to me is kind of the common sense factor as well. You got to look at the obvious no’s and identify them before making a decision. For example, if you are a farmer, you do not want to lease a brand new 2020 kia Rio for your work truck….. just makes no sense. If you commute a lot on daily basis, then leasing might not be for you because certain leases you can only put on certain miles. You want a good vehicle that suites your needs, you do not need to have a cool car to be professional. –

Thank you for reading my blog and I hope this information will help everyone out when they go to buy or lease their next vehicle. If you guys want more information or need help with your process, leave a comment with your name and I can help you narrow down your options for you! Have a great day.

How to change and clean your air filter.

Hello fellow bloggers, hope all of you had a great weekend! The weather is starting to warm up outside and so is my spirit. This week we are going to be back on track and be talking about cars, my favorite subject. Specifically we are going to be talking about how to change and clean filters for an air intake on your vehicle. Note, an air intake filter is different from a standard air filter on a stock vehicle.

HOW TO CHANGE AIR-INTAKE FILTER

InJen Air Intake.

The only tools you should really need is a flat-head screw-driver and a socket wrench with the correct size socket. The only parts you should need is a hose clamp, with a flat head bolt and bolts for the socket that holds the shield on. First, you are going to want to take the shield off with your socket wrench. There are usually three bolt that you have to take off, and they are located next to the hose clamp (righty tighty, lefty loosy). You may only have to take one bolt off to be able to move the shield freely from the air filter The hose clamp should be located at the very bottom of the air-intake filter. To loosen the hose clamp, take your flat head screw driver and turn the bolt left. BE CAREFUL though, do not loosen the bolt to much, or it will come off the track. Next, you should be able to wiggle the head of the filter and the clamp with your hands off the air-intake shaft. It should come off fairly easy…If it doesn’t you might have to loosen the hose clamp bolt more or completely take off the shield.

HOW TO CLEAN THE AIR-INTAKE FILTER…

Depending on the brand of the air filter, you may or may not have to use special cleaner but I always recommend that you do use some type of cleaner. Take your cleaner and spray the air intake outside and inside. It only takes about 7-10 squirts for each side to be completely covered in cleaner. After using the cleaner, run hot water through the air intake if you can, cold water is also okay. Make sure you get the cleaner completely out and you will know when it is out by looking at the color of the water coming off the air intake. Let the air intake dry in the sun until it is completely dry before putting it back on. I like to clean my air intake every time I change my oil.

ASSEMBLY BACK TOGETHER.

Before you put that air filter back on you may want to find out if you need to oil the filter. Some brands have oil already in them but if your washing it the oil is going to come out also. I recommend you get the oil brand for the type of air filter you have. Then you just have to work backwards from taking it off and make sure everything is on tight. The air intake should not move when you put force on it but you also don’t want it to tight and snap off the bolts or break the hose clamp.

Oil for air filter.

Changing air filters on your car is easy and if you do not know how to, it only take a little bit of effort and some handwork to figure out. It is a lot easier then changing motor oil in my opinion and probably is one of the easier things you can change out on your vehicle. If you want to learn more about air filters you can check out my other post and I should have 2 other post that go into detail about air intakes and other hand things for your vehicle. Thank you for reading have a great week!

Top 7 accessories to have in your car when traveling.

Hello fellow bloggers, hope all of you are having a wonderful day and I hope you had a good Easter. This is probably the first time in like 10 years, where we did not celebrate Easter with both sides of the family. Usually most of family members drive here to my hometown and some live close, while others almost live 3-4 hours away. Long drives can be frustrating, that is why we are going to be looking at some accessories to help with long car rides today!

  1. Car organizer

When traveling, it is very important that you have your car organized and ready to go. This just makes the process faster and it will be easier to know where everything is at encase of an emergency. Also if you have passengers with you, it makes the car rides smoother for them when they can relax and not have to worry about stepping in a old bag of McDonald’s. If you get into an emergency, you want to make sure that you have the right tools for any emergency. Most cars come with a car organizer and it has very useful tools in it such as: Blanket, Flares, reflective vest, small flashlight, screw driver-flat and Philips, and etc. They might not be all useful but they should be able to help you out until another vehicle comes.

2. Trash can/bag

Having a mini trash can in your vehicle or even just a bag with do for this one and it is pretty self explanatory. You always want to have a bag at-least because you never know who might get sick in your car and passengers can throw there trash in there. What I really like too do is, go buy a battery hold for a vehicle and use that as my trash bag. It is not to big and it is not to small. If I do not want it, it can fit in my trunk or be used to hold another battery.

3. Spare Tire/donut tire

The farther you have to travel, the more risk you put your vehicle at and do not be that driver that relies on other drivers to help them. 9/10 times most cars traveling get a flat tire simply because a lose in air pressure, a small leak, or rain over a nail or screw. If your planning to make a quick trip less then 45 minutes you should be fine without a spare tire but any longer and you should have one ready to go in your trunk. It is a lot easier and cheaper if you just have a spare on you then calling someone to bring you one or have your car towed to the nearest shop. Make sure if you have a donut tire on that yo only drive no faster then 25 miles per hour. They are only meant to last for a couple hundred miles.

4. Phone/holder

Car trips can get pretty long and the last thing you need to be is distracted. It only takes a quick glance at the ground and you can be the person who caused a major crash all because you looked at a Snap chat. If you have other riders with you, let them send your streaks, text messages, play music, and etc. I know it is tempting but trust me it is not worth your life. Most car holders are universal so that means they can fit multiple devices which is really cool and they are not that much money.

5. Cigarette outlet plug in with USB

I hate to say it, but your phone is probably the most important tool for long trips. You never know what might happen and you may get lost. Most newer car have outlets built in them but older vehicles like my car, have a cigarette outlet… Well do not see how smoking is going to help you, so I bought a cigarette USB outlet so I can actually use it. The USB will charge your phone and you will always know that you have a full battery for emergencies. Some cigarette USB outlets have more then one output and can be customized if you buy online.

6. Mini vacuum

No matter how clean your vehicle is, sooner or later is is going to get dirty. The more people that you have in your vehicle, the more trash there is. I don’t know about you, but it bothers me when Spring comes and there are little rocks all over my car floor boards. To deal with this and trash, I bought a mini car vacuum and it gets powered from a cigarette outlet!

7. Jumper cables

Your car may run the first time you started it, but then you get to a gas station, fill up and then try to go on your way and your car wont start. You realize you have no power know and have to ask for a jump and cables. Jumper cables are important, battery in car are very unreliable and now days they are not like they where in the old days. There are so many competitors and the quality is just not the same. Asking for a jump is bad enough but asking for cables to make you look like a rookie, plus if you need to jump a friend you could help him out. Depending on how much you spend, you can buy regular jumper cables or you can buy a device that hooks up directly to you battery and restarts your car.

How to stay protected from the Corona Virus

Hello my bloggers, welcome back. I know you are all pretty sick and tired of hearing about the Corona Virus, and so am I. Given the severity of the situation though, I will be talking about how to stay protected from this virus, instead of talking to you about cars. I hope all of you are healthy and have the necessary supplies to get through this quarantine.

The Corona Virus is an infectious disease that comes from a new type of virus or viruses. This disease attacks the respiratory system and you can experience the same symptoms as the flu. This is why a lot of people are getting tested and I do not blame them, I would be scared too. The disease is very deadly because it is new and has infected more people then the hospitals can handle. The disease spreads fastest through air particles. This is also why social distancing is in place because germs usually tend to spread 0-6 feet. This disease should not be taken lightly, now lets talks about how some ways you can protect yourself from the Corona Virus

Wear a mask

Since the disease’s main way of infecting others is through the air, it is always important to wear a mask especially if you have a light cough. Germs in general can spread up to six feet, but sneezing and coughing is a different story. When you sneeze and cough, your body releases undetected gas bubbles called “multiphase turbulent buoyant bubble”. Wow, that is one big word and no it is not fake! These bubbles can actually travel up to 200 feet and like I said there undetectable. The best thing you can do if you plan on going to the store or anywhere in public, just wear a mask. Depending on where you live, you may or may not have access to these supplies. Also just any mask will not do, it may reduce your chance but it is not guaranteed to do the job. These are the mask that your are suppose to be wearing that protect you the most: homemade cloth face mask, surgical mask, and N95 respirator.

No mask, cover your mouth if you cough or sneeze.

Wash your hands

Washing your hands might not seem like it does a lot, but if you could see all the germs on your hand from coming out a grocery store, I think you would probably freak out. Washing your hands is very important because you use your hands to touch: garbage, dirty dishes, kids toys, and etc. Then you might wonder off doing something else, and then released you touch food or a part of your face with your dirty hands. No your probably not going to die, but you will definitely have and increase risk of getting the corona virus or any virus in general. Every time you wash your hands, you should wash for an extra 5-10 seconds just to be safe. Also maybe buying a little bottle of hand sanitizer as well would not be a bad idea. Be careful and make sure you get the recommended brand because some brands have way too much alcohol in them. This can cause skin irritation problems and actually destroys some of the good bacteria on your skin.

20-40 seconds, Hot water!

Don’t go outside

Like I said in the paragraph above, depending on your situation, you may just want to stay inside and ride it out. Where I live, there are only a couple of cases in our County. Social distancing is taking place here, but we are not on lock down just quite yet. Now if you got to a place like New York, they are in a full quarantine zone and you only leave the house for emergencies only. If you have infants or elderly people living with you, make 100 percent sure they do not go outside. They are targets to this virus because they more then likely have a weaker immune system then you do. Also they might be dealing with other medical problems and this disease can flare things up pretty good.

Driver License Renewal and Restrictions for South Dakota

Hello fellow bloggers, long time no chat. Sorry I have not posted a lot of content in the last couple weeks, I have been spending my spring break quarantining at my house! No I am not sick or have the Corona virus, I am just following the rules of social distancing. I hope all of you are safe and well, and do remember to always wash your hands.

In the State of South Dakota, you can get your permit to drive at the age of fourteen. Before you can get your permit, you have take a drivers knowledge exam or you can also take drivers education to speed up the process. After passing your test with a 80 percent or higher, you will need the last four digits of your social security, two forms of identification and one form that has your mailing address on it. Once you get your permit, you will have to drive with an adult or someone who is older then eighteen. You will also have to drive with this person for one-hundred and eighty days, unless you took drivers education.

Once the one-hundred and eighty days are up, you now have to go back to the DMV and apply for your restricted minors permit unless you took drivers education. To get your restricted minors permit, you have to take a driving test with a driving instructor from the DMV. During this test there is complete silence and you follow the instructors directions. My test only took me about seven minutes and we drove in a big square. If you pass this test you now can drive by yourself freely, but hold up there is a catch. You can only drive from six AM to ten PM. If you drive past curfew, you can get pulled over, get a ticket, and could get your restricted minors taking away. You also cannot drive in any other state outside of South Dakota unless your parent or guardian is with you. Do not worry though, this is only temporary.

After driving for quite some time with the curfew, at the age of sixteen there is no curfew and no restrictions. You have to go back to the DMV and apply for a operators license, which is basically the same process as getting your permit (forms of identification, picture, eye checked, and etc) just without taking the test. You can now drive whenever you want, and wherever you want. Do not go crazy though, you can only drive a vehicle or a moped/scooter. If caught operating with any other motor transportation such as: semi trucks, commercial, motorcycles/scooters/mopeds/ 50cc or higher, and etc. There will be some hefty fines to pay and you could lose your licences.

The last big change to your drivers licences will come when you turn twenty one. At the age of twenty one, your picture and all your information on your drivers licence get moved around and is printed horizontally on your licences. You will also see that they use a different color to differ between an adult or a child that is under or over 21.

No this guy is not from South Dakota, but it gives you the general picture.

Thank you for reading my blog and be sure to stay tuned in for more content. Be safe and remember to always keep your distance.

Vehicle Washing

Hello fellow bloggers, I hope you are enjoying this nice weather we are having. Today I am going to be talking about: when you should wash your vehicle, why you should wash your vehicle, and how to clean your vehicle the best way possible. I will also be giving some handy tips and tricks that I personally use to keep my car looking sharp. These tips and tricks can save you a lot of money in the long run especially if you want to ride the vehicle till it dies.

When should you wash your vehicle? When it comes to washing your vehicle, you should wash your vehicle at least once a week. This may vary depending on: the vehicle you own, how much you use that vehicle, what color the vehicle is, and where you live. I personally wash my car two times a week because the color is gloss black, and I live in the Mid West….. Very dusty and wet where I live. Helpful tip- when washing your vehicle make sure the predicted forecast for the next couple of days is going to be clear. It does not make any sense to wash your vehicle then have it get rained on the following day. Also right after it rains pull your car into a garage or enclosed space and wipe the vehicle down. Nothing is better then getting a free car wash!

Think it is time for a wash I would say.

Why should you wash your vehicle? You should want to wash your vehicle, and if you never do your vehicle will look completely different over time. Also the next time you go to wash your vehicle, it is gonna take a lot more time, effort, and money then what it should regularly be. If you bought your vehicle with your own money like I did, you should care what it looks like. Vehicles are not cheap, they get more expensive every year, and are starting to be made with more cheap materials. Repainting your vehicle can cost thousand of dollars, it would be so much easier to just wash your car every week and avoid repainting your vehicle in the long run. Tip- if your vehicle is never clean, you will never be able find out about: love taps, fender benders, scrapes, chips, fine scratches, deep scratches, and etc. If you do not care about what your vehicle looks like, you probably do not care about the health of the vehicle either. You might ass well buy and old rust bucket, it will be a lot cheaper then buying a brand new vehicle to trash.

How to clean your vehicle When it comes to cleaning your vehicle, there are three types of ways to wash it. You can hand wash your vehicle, go to a self car wash, or go to an automatic car wash. I prefer hand washing since it is cheap and you will mostly likely not miss a spot. We will talk about this more in a little bit. These three types of ways all clean your vehicle, but one way might be better then the other or might be a better option for you.

Hand washing is the best, cheapest, and easiest way to wash your vehicle. All you really need is a bucket, a garden hose, dish soap, and some towels if you want to dry it and get fancy. The best part about hand washing is you get to do it yourself and make sure your satisfied with your vehicle before you call it quits. It makes it really easy if you have a power washer, you do not need a $450 power washer or you can just buy a info commercial car nozzles for garden hoses. You also do not need to buy special car soap, or any special products, but it does make the process of washing your vehicle go by faster. Tip- if you live somewhere where it is always warm, spray your car everyday with a water for about a two minutes and then pull it into the garage to air dry. No need to spend money on soap when you can quick wash it everyday.

Self car washes are also another cheap way to wash your car and they also provide a more high pressure hose. Some other benefits include: they run off change, they are enclosed, and they have several options for the nozzle. You can have soap, pre-soap, wax, low tire pressure cleaner, rinse, spot free rinse and etc. Depending on the car wash they may or may not allow bucket washing also know as hand washing. They also might have a heated inside so drying your vehicle is easy. The one thing I do not like about self car washes is there car brushes especially if you can not hand wash. When I had my old car I took it to a self car wash. While I was washing my car with the car brush, I started to see scratches. After investigation I realized that the car brush was full of rocks and probably has never been changed out.

Multiple bays, vacuums, car products, and change machine!

Automatic car washes are fast, somewhat reliable, and best part is you can usually select the level you want for your vehicle. For example: Basic wash- $6, Ultra wash- $8, Works wash- $10, or Ultimate wash $12. This is great for days where you really feel lazy or just got done with a really long car ride, all you have to do is pay inside or at a machine and your car is clean five minutes later. The only thing I do not like about automatic car washes is that they usually do not tend to dry good at all and the hose that squirts at the tires has way to much pressure. It also just scares me to read reviews about moving brushes scraping cars and ruining paint.

In and out real quick

Thank you for reading my blog, hopefully you got some use full information. Now you know for sure what way is the best way to wash your vehicle, have a great day!

Hennessey Venom GT

Hello my fellow readers, hope you are having a great week! Today we are going to be talking about my dream car which goes by the name of “Hennessey Venom GT”. This bad boy at one point in time was the fastest street legal car and could reach a top speed of 300 miles per hour. This car is not only super fast but also looks super slick. This car alone has broken 2 world records and “this is only just the start” according to John Hennessey. Also just listening to this car accelerate is music to my ears.

The first Hennessey Venom Gt displayed at Houston Cars and Coffee in June 2011.

The Hennessey Venom Gt was first released to the public in 2011. Over time the car has undergo a lot of changes and not until 2017 the final version of the car was completed. The Hennessy Venom GT was named after the owner John Hennessey, who also owns Hennessey Performance’s. The starting price for the Hennessey Venom Gt from Hennessey Performance’s is 1.4 million dollars……. This number may vary depending on if you want to customize certain parts of the car or want to replace some parts with carbon fiber for weight reduction. Hennessey Performance’s work on all type of vehicles, they make there own vehicles, and add extreme tunes to any vehicle. For example, they work with well know car brands like: Audi, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Jaguar, Jeep, Lamborghini, and McLaren.

Ford GT Hennessy Performance
Hennessey Venom F5 (New and Latest Car Hennessey Performance’s Have Been Working On)

In February 14, 2014 the Hennesesy Venom GT was deemed the fastest street legal car on the market around the world. Producing around 1,244 horsepower this puppy can go 0-60 in 2.7 seconds and only takes another 2 seconds to reach 100 miles per hour. 0-200 miles per hour only takes around 15 seconds to reach. The fastest speed ever recorded in this car was 270.49 miles per hour and it can reach a top speed of 278.0 miles per hour. This car can reach these top speeds because of two factors. Factor one, the Hennessy Venom Gt is powered by a (7.0 L) Twin Turbo Charged V8. Factor two, this super car only weighs about 2,748 pounds. Rules Of The Road You May Not Know

Welcome! Hope you had a great Presidents’ Day. Today we are going to be talking about some very important content for drivers in general, or for new drivers. We are going to be talking about the basic rules of the road. This will ensure safety for you as well as other drivers. Hope you enjoy, and learn something you may not of known.

1. Pedestrians always have the right away.

It is your duty while driving to avoid colliding with a pedestrian. Typically most busy intersections have a automatic crosswalk and signal to alert pedestrians of oncoming traffic. When in school zones pedestrians always have the right away no matter what.

2. If there is a car pulled over on the side of the road, get in the furthest lane away from them.

To avoid any possibly injuries, the best thing to do when a vehicle is pulled over is to get at least a one lane courtesy. This is especially true if a cop or highway patrol vehicle is pulled over and dealing with another vehicle, as well when driving on the interstate.

3. Always have your registration and drivers license on hand while driving a vehicle.

The best way to prepare for an event of being pulled over is to have your drivers license and registration on hand. This is important because the officer will need to see your license and registration in order to make sure the vehicle is yours and not stolen. Usually have them in arms length so you don’t confuse the officer of what you are grabbing for.

4. If pulled over do not get out of the car unless asked to do so.

If you get pulled over, you most likely already broke a rule of the road. It is very important to listen and follow directions from the officer. This will not only make your stop go better but it will make the situation less concerning for the officer.

5. Hitch hiking is generally illegal in most states across the US.

Depending on the state you live in, it may or may not be legal to give a ride to a hitchhiker or to hitchhike. Not only is it illegal, but it is also very dangerous. If you don’t know the person, don’t give them a ride. They may not be safe, such as: having warrants, diseases, weapons, and etc.

6. The max limit to drive after drinking is no more then .08%

To ensure safety for yourself as well as other drivers, it is a law that you cannot legally drive if your blood alcohol content is above .08%. two to three beers an hour is the average drinking tolerance to legally drive. This also depends on tolerance, size, and alcohol content of the beer/wine cooler. You may think you are okay to drive, but your blood alcohol content may continue to rise while driving. To conclude, it’s safer just to get a ride.

7. Honking your horn is suppose to be used for emergency purposes only.

When using the horn it should only be used for emergency purposes only, such as: getting a distracted drivers attention, avoiding crashes, SOS, and etc. You should’t use your horn to: get a friends attention, tell a person to go, and using it in drive thru’s.

8. When making a turn of any sort, you should signal which way your turning 100 feet before you turn.

When preparing to make a turn you should signal around 100 feet before turning. This will let other surrounding vehicles know what way you are going. Depending on what city and state you are in, you may have to signal before 100 feet in order to get into a turning lane.

9. When two cars are coming to a uncontrolled intersection at the same time, the person on the right generally has the right away.

To help confusion for people driving at an uncontrolled intersection, when two cars stop at the same time it is best to let the person to the right go first. This will provide a safe way to go through an uncontrolled intersection. It will also help prevent with any vehicle collisions.

10. When legally passing a vehicle on a two way road, get into the returning lane 200 feet before the oncoming car passes by.

If necessary, only pass the vehicle on a straight away. Make sure that there are no hills or curves when attempting a pass. When passing, increase your speed and safely pass the vehicle in the left lane. It is important to get back into the returning lane before 200 feet of oncoming traffic. Also, give yourself three to four car lengths for the car behind you before getting back into the returning lane.
